Do you have a mould problem?
Blue Clean performs a specific mould assessment for every client, generally, a description of the problem by the client with several photos is enough for our specialised team to understand the mould cause and the place to focus the treatment. But in some cases, especially for large properties where the problem is not only present in one area, a visit/inspection must be necessary to assess the mould problem properly.
Our Mould Treatment Service
Our staff is trained to treat different types of mould and bacteria at a superficial level. That is to say, the mould growing on top of the paint coats. If the mould problem is related to structural issues, such as water leaking from the ceiling, roof or floor, our specialist will let you know before commencing the mould treatment.
Our goal is to provide a quality service and ensure you are receiving exactly what you are expecting. As a cleaning company, we do not perform tradies services like Mechanical subfloor ventilation, ceiling ventilation, or installation of exhaust fans in bathrooms, kitchen, or from rooms to outdoors.

Important Note: The mould treatment targets the bacteria, in some cases when the mould issues is severe, after the killing and removal of mould, the original paint colour might be affected.

What to expect from a mould treatment specialist
Step 1: Bio-fogging to eliminate spores

Blue Clean Services uses a fogging application that creates a vapour that can reach all surfaces and potentially everywhere, assuring that the mould spores are deactivated. We use a specialised chemical that is proven to kill or deactivate a wide range of bacteria, mould and viruses.

The mould fogging treatment is:
-
Environmentally friendly
-
Mould, odour, bacteria, and viruses are treated in one process
-
Fast and efficient

No bleach is used in the process. Unlike many people think, bleach only makes the mould look clean (white), which does not mean the spores are deactivated. Blue Clean never uses bleach for mould removal, if you are allergic or sensitive to sodium hypochlorite (bleach) or you have any delicate fabrics on your property that can be seriously damaged with bleach, you are safe with us.
Step 2: Clean the mould

After leaving for 15 mins the vapour acting on all surfaces, all the mould spores and bacteria will be deactivated, the next step is to physically clean the most affected areas, wiping down all the surfaces, vacuuming or mopping if necessary. This prevents mould spores from spreading outside the contaminated areas.
Step 3: Final Inspection

Once the mould removal is finished, our qualified staff will conduct a final inspection of the working area to ensure the effectiveness of the process and create a report that will be sent to the client showing the result and possible measures to prevent the mould from returning.

The returning time is two hours once our team has finished the mould removal service, you just let us in in the morning, and in the afternoon your property will be free of mould and odours.

What is the difference between cleaning and disinfecting service?Cleaning means to physically remove dirt and grime from surfaces using a cleanser and water solution. The cleanser might also have the ability to eliminate a certain percentage of germs (bacteria and viruses), depending on how biologically strong the cleanser is. Disinfecting means using specialised substances which are labelled as ‘disinfectant’ to kill germs on surfaces. These chemicals usually have an intense sterilizing property which can kill 99,9% of viruses that normal cleansers can’t do. It’s essential to clean before disinfecting as dirt and grime can reduce the sanitisation efficiency. Blue Clean uses a disinfectant that received recognition from the Department of Health. However, disinfectants usually leave marks on glasses such as mirrors. Hence, we recommend using disinfection cleaning as an extra of other cleaning services for best results.
-
How much does disinfection cleaning cost?Depending which option of disinfection cleaning you choose, we offer various prices. Please visit our Book Now page to get a customised and instant quote.

Can I use sanitiser as disinfection cleansers?Although sanitisers are usually advertised that they can kill 99,9% germs, they are not as strong as disinfectants, which makes them safe to use on skin. If you’re disinfecting a hard surface or inanimate object, a disinfectant is the best option. Consider to use bio-fogging service for air disinfection.
-
How often should I do a routine disinfection? It is recommended to regularly clean and disinfect surfaces that have high touching-traffic. Crowded areas such as stores and offices should disinfect frequently touched surfaces at least once daily. Combine with our office cleaning services for a discount price. All surfaces should be cleaned with detergent prior to disinfection. Alternatively, you may be able to do a 2-in-1 clean and disinfection by using a combined detergent and disinfectant.
